On the road, again...

Actually, Travis is on the road this time... travelling with the rifle team to competitions around the country. It's very cool that he gets to work with both military and civilian shooters, fine tuning his gunsmithing skills out in the field and meeting some really great people. I just wish I could go too.

I know it's an inevitable part of his job, but I still get really bummed that I get to spend most of the summer communicating with my husband via cell phone and facebook messages...

Visions of grad school danced in my head...

I made the silly mistake of having a big cup of tea before going to bed last night. Usually it helps me sleep. but I've been trying to cut caffeine out of my diet, so that cup of tea might as well have been 5 cups of coffee! Anyway... Since I was unable to sleep, I started thinking back to design school and every project I did and how I could've improved it and just how much I miss some of the larger scale, theoretical planning projects... The kind of things that urban/city planners do for a living... It's been on my mind for a while now, but I think I'll try to get my architectural license squared away first...
